Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actress as well as a performer. She is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). She was born in Michigan's Huntington Woods with the family of a Polish mother and a father that was German, English Irish, Scottish and Irish. Kristen discovered her talents in entertainment as a young stage of her life. In 1992, she appeared at her first audition and won a role in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell received an agent who was appointed by her mother at the age 13 and she was subsequently hired as a model in newspapers and television commercials. At this time Bell also started classes in acting. Bell made an appearance on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band as well as the drama club. She won the starring role as Dorothy at her school's play The Wizard of Oz. Bell then moved to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student there. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 and began playing the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 that Bell made her first appearance in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). However, her part was cut and only the credits display her. Bell was seen alongside Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
