Awkwafina
Awkwafina was initially an American musician and rapper performing sly tunes that dealt with questions of race and sexuality with a humorous twist. Before expanding to Hollywood, she could perform a variety of tracks. Born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens her first encounter with the world of music was via trumpet. Later, she began traditional and hip-hop training. In the end, she focused on her education. she was awarded an education in journalism at the college as well as a women's studies degree. Her focus shifted to music once she finished her studies. The year 2012 saw My Vag (as a retort to Mickey Avalon's My Dick) became an internet sensation and featured in her debut album Yellow Ranger. It also contained songs that were viral such as body-positive Queef or winking hometown tour NYC Bitche$. The latter track connected directly with another Awkwafina project NYC a travel guide published in 2015. As a musician and an author as her credentials, she began looking for an actor for a third venture. Apart from the early television shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies like Neighbors2Storks, and Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed an array of noteworthy roles including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June she released In Fina We Trust.
